At Atlas, we believe in looking after client’s interest from the beginning to end and beyond. To this end we have built up a range of services, aimed at taking away the strain of home ownership abroad, services that form part of the running and maintaining of your property.

Services & Information

We take this opportunity to inform you that in order to complete on a property purchase in Spain, the local authorities have advised Atlas International that it is compulsory for clients to obtain an NIE number / Certificate (Numero de Identidad de Extranjero) and for the original of this number to be presented at the notary for the signing of the property.

The NIE number will identify clients as non nationals and who have financial interest in Spain, such as property purchase, tax payments / declarations.

The NIE number / Certificates are only valid for 3 months after which a new valid certificate is required, to avoid reapplying for another certificate we strongly recommend that application are processed as close to the completion date as possible, Atlas International can assist with these application.

Water & Electricity

Most new constructed properties are initially handed over on builder’s supply of water and electricity with connection to the main supply conducted at a later stage when the urbanisation is complete, in some cases the builder does not provide this service but Atlas International will help in these matters.

Legal Representation

For all legal matters relating to your property purchase Atlas International strongly recommends that you appoint an independent Spanish speaking solicitor.

Property Management

We have an official Spanish registered property management company with its main office situated in the centre of Torrevieja.

If you plan to use your property for holidays with family and friends only and have the worry of it being empty for long periods at a time our property management team have the experience and expertise needed to manage your property during your absence.

Once registered with us, you can relax in the knowledge that your property is in good hands and will be well taken care of.

Our basic services include:

  • Key holding and release to authorised guests or contractors.
  • Monthly checks of property for:
    1. Humidity
    2. Insect infestation
    3. Utility supply checks
    4. Security checks
    5. Mail box
    6. Drainage checks
    7. Running water into WC

Annual registration fee 400.00€ plus VAT at 21%

Property Rentals


If you do not intend to use your property on a regular basis, an excellent way to cover the costs incurred in owning the property is to consider making your property available for rental on a long and / or short term basis.

Our property rental service includes all of the Property Management services plus the following:

  • Obtaining suitable tenants through
  • Photographing the interior and exterior of the property
  • Internet advertising
  • Classified advertising in local newspapers
  • Advertising from our prime location high street office in Torrevieja
  • Exposure via our international agency network
  • Internal advertising of our Spanish network
  • Updating our internal clientele database
  • Providing fully legal renting contracts.
  • Collecting, accounting for and distributing rents
  • Arranging necessary property maintenance to tenant’s retention.

Annual registration fee 400.00€ plus VAT at 21%

Mail Service

Get a secure address in Spain for all your Spanish correspondence.

Collection of mail / parcel, daily during our opening hours.

09.00hrs to 14.00hrs and 15.00hrs to 18.00hrs, Mondays to Fridays except bank holidays and local fiestas.

  • Photocopying service.
  • Faxing service.
  • Basic verbal translation of documents.

Foreign Exchange

We realise that our clients do not get involved in large currency purchases on a regular basis so our aim is to guide them safely through the procedure helping to complete their property purchase as smoothly & as quickly as possible.

We will recommend an independent currency specialist who will save you money over the high street banks and can handle all your foreign exchange transactions, including:

  • Stage payments
  • Regular payments (i.e Mortgage payments)
  • One off payments
  • Pet
